Ashby-de-la-Zouch is a small town in the Ashby Woulds, North West Leicestershire district of England. Ashby-de-la Zouch Castle was built for William, Lord Hastings and it’s collapse after a fire in 1795 has been left as a monument to this day. Ashby Canal also passes through Ashby-de-la-Zouch, and this was joined in 1992 by Ashby Woulds Lake. Ashby Woulds Landscape Garden is a very popular parkland attraction. Ashby Woulds Heritage Trail is a set of fourteen panel signs showcasing Ashby Woulds landmarks from the Victorian era to the present day.
